Fans were excited to see Saxon live this year, but the band was forced to cancel their series of shows across Europe called “Seize the Day World Tour” due to one of their member’s health conditions.
The metal rockers took to their social media accounts to share an official announcement, initially writing that they would have to cancel their shows in Dresden and Rostock due to “unforseen circumstances.”
They assured fans that they are attempting to re-schedule another date for their fans as soon as possible and they also extended their apologies to those who were affected by the inconvenience.

The reason behind this was member Biff Byford “catching Covid” while they were on tour. “sorry for all the inconvenience this causes but is way beyond anyone’s control,” they added.
As of this writing, Byford has yet to share his personal statement regarding the matter.
