Many fans are excited for Blink-182 to reunite again in a highly-anticipated comeback concert after being on hiatus for years. However, Travis Barker recently revealed that he suffered an injury while rehearsing for the concert.
Initially, the drummer took to his official Twitter account to share a random post, writing, “F***.” Many fans were confused as to what he was referring to and started asking him questions.
A few hours later, he gave an explanation, saying he was playing the drums at rehearsals when he “smashed” his finger so hard to the point that it got dislocated and the ligaments were torn.

The musician gave fans more insight into his injury by posting a photo of his finger on his Instagram stories.
As of this writing, Barker has not revealed whether his injury would hinder the upcoming tour dates or if someone would temporarily replace him until he recovers.
After the post made rounds online, many fans shared their well wishes to the drummer, with one fan writing, “Please rest so you can play in Buenos Aires – you won’t regret it. We can give you pain killers from the crowd if necessary.”
“Wishing you a speedy recovery! It’s OK if you still drum with one hand, I saw that concert when you were with +44 rocking a broken arm and you were still amazing!” another fan wrote.

According to Blink-182’s official website, their first show would be at the Imperial GNP in Tijuana, Mexico, on March 11, 2023. More information about the complete tour dates and tickets is available here.
Not The First Time Travis Barker Suffered Health Woes Over The Past Few Months
The recent injury comes half a year after Travis Barker was hospitalized due to “life threatening” pancreatitis. He previously shared his experience on social media, saying he had an endoscopy that required the removal of a polyp in a sensitive area.
However, upon removing the polyp, it damaged his pancreatic drainage tube which resulted in his pancreas is inflamed. (via NBC News)
After the first surgery, he suffered from “excruciating pain” and had been hospitalized again. He assured fans that he’s feeling better, writing, “I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better.”
At the time, his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, issued a statement, saying her former partner was in great hands and was surrounded by the best doctors around as well as his “beautiful wife,” Kourtney Kardashian.
