Usher is one of the biggest singers in the world, and like any other artist, he has to have a source of creativity to fuel him in his creative and musical pursuits.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, Usher revealed that he tapped into this creativity when he was in Las Vegas.
In the past, Usher had teased that he would be releasing the sequel to his iconic album in 2004, “Burn.” However, AllHipHop revealed that the more that the singer works on it, the more he becomes detached from doing it.
“I can’t be who I was. I don’t want to be who I was. I want to be better than what I was. That might be a problem,” he noted.
As Usher hit a stump, it would seem like relocating to Las Vegas in 2021 had Usher gearing towards a creative rush he had never seen before.
Per the artist, he realized that coming to Sin City revitalized his creative juices again.
“Las Vegas is very important because it actually speaks to my career, to be in a place where I can dream, where I can incubate ideas,” he explained. “A place where I can be creative.”
Usher is currently on his second Las Vegas Residency titled “My Way” at the Park MGM Resort.

To date, Usheer has still been working hand in hand with LA Reid, the producer of his first four albums.
Usher, who has kept working with Reid for two decades, is still inspired to work with him for the upcoming release of his new album.
“His system is what created that expectation for me, as a young artist. So now, damn near 25 or some odd years later, we feel inspired to go out and create more artists,” he explained.
Usher has been nominated for various categories at the GRAMMY Awards in the past few decades, including his 2005 album, “Confessions,” for Album of the Year. He was also nominated as a featured artist on Mary J. Blige’s “Good Morning Gorgeous” at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
To date, Usher has won 8 Grammy Awards, including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, Best Contemporary R&B Album, Best R&B Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
